Florida Construction Specialists (FCS) is a merging of Florida Restoration Team and Shamblin Construction, large scale general contractors that have operated in Florida since 1982. Our combined 40+ years of experience and 300+ completed projects make us one of Tampa Bay's most trusted names in construction.
Our leadership includes Robert Shamblin and Frank Bragano, building consultants specializing in large loss commercial disaster recovery with decades of hands-on experience in insurance restoration, historic preservation, and complex commercial projects. We bring an uncommon depth of expertise with an in-house engineer and in-house architectural draftsman on staff—resources that most contractors outsource.
Our unique background in restoration means we understand buildings inside and out—from structural systems to building envelope waterproofing. This expertise applies to every project we take on, whether it's a medical facility, historic restoration, or a lifetime custom home.
Today, with proven access to construction financing and grant funding for commercial, residential, and historic preservation projects, we take on projects ranging from $500K to $25M+.
